We have only 10 seats for students interested in the film acting course. We believe in teaching a small group of students who are interested in acting.

5. Does it make a difference if I choose to do an part time acting course instead of a full time course in a acting institute?

It is not essential to do a full time or part time acting course to enter the field but a full time acting course has more weight-age and can increase your rate of career growth. full time or part time film acting course can only polish you and be an entry ticket to the industry.

No matter how good an actor, you think you are, there's always room for improvement. Even the most famous actors and actresses take lessons or hire acting coach es. Joining film acting classes can refine the skills and broaden your range of roles. An acting course also helps in updating the actor with the latest methods, teaching techniques and acting styles.
Most film acting classes allow actors to perform scenes from various plays and films which helps students to learn how to analyze a script, enter the character and justify it. Yes CRAFT offers special classes on weekends (i.e. Saturday and Sunday) for school students or working people. They may also join evening batches.

11. Is the duration of acting course offered by craft appropriate?

CRAFT is an alternative to a formal film and television school. Our Acting Institute offers training and strategically designed short term acting course during the period of 1 year. In this short term acting course, focus is on developing the base of the subject with adequate knowledge through scientifically designed study materials and do practicals. This period is long enough to prepare people for professional acting work in their chosen area i.e. theatre / film/ television acting.

12. What is the content of practical work in acting course?

CRAFT puts much emphasis on practical training of students, by taking them to shooting locations, as well as post-production studios, where they can witness live shootings. As a film acting school our infrastructure and facilities within the institute are adequate to support in-house acting workshops. Our tie-ups with various production houses and known industry contacts account for the rest of outdoor acting workshops that brings student closer to the industry by showing how the industry functions. CRAFT maintains a ratio of 25:75 between theory and practical. In fact majority of our courses are based upon learning by doing.

At craft we treat all students as equals thus, international students also follow the same procedure as Indian students. After filling the online form (paypal) they have to give a online written entrance exam. a telephonic interview will be arranged with the selected candidates after which the selection list will be revealed.

We support selection list students in obtaining the indian visa. After receiving the official letter of admission at CRAFT the applicant must contact the nearest Indian mission for student visa.
