Education in Advertising is the means of informing and influencing the general public to purchase products and services through visual and oral messages. Product and services is advertised to create an awareness in the minds of potential buyers. Some of the commonly used media for advertising are T.V, Radio, Internet, Newspapers, Magazines, etc. Education in Advertising is a  result of economic liberalization that will  change the  social trend in advertising industry. It  has shown rapid growth in the last decade. 

Education in Advertising is one of the important aspects of mass communication. It  is actually brand building through effective ways communication and is essentially a service industry. Awareness and a good education system helps to create demand on a large number, promote marketing system which shows a boost in our economy. Thus the education in advertising forms the basis of marketing.

Advertising plays a significant role in today's highly competitive world through educate knowledge. Advertising as a career is quite a glamorous and on the same time it was challenging with more and more options in competitive market.
